Trading guides

A reading library, organised four ways.

Structured written guides covering the four core areas every serious student of the FX market eventually needs to understand. None of them are trading recommendations — all of them are part of how we think about education.

How to use this library

A few honest notes on reading these.

Start at the top of a category

These are sequenced. Reading "moving averages" before "trend structure" is the same mistake as reading a textbook backwards. Start at the beginning of the topic you are studying.

Read slowly, twice

The retail market rewards skimming. Your education does not. We write these short on purpose so you can read them carefully — and we expect you to re-read the ones that matter.

Come back later

Many of these guides will mean different things in your second year than in your first. Bookmark the ones that confuse you now. They are often the ones you will need most later.

Pair with practice

Reading without practice is not learning. After each guide, open a chart, look at the thing in front of you, and try to identify what we have described. Always on a study chart, never with money.

Going further

The structured way to take it deeper.

If you find yourself returning to these guides, the Foundations course is the natural next step. Six weeks, written and video material, with a small-cohort discussion forum.
