Privacy Policy.
We try to keep this readable. The document below explains, in plain English, what personal data we collect, why, how we look after it, and the rights you have under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (the General Data Protection Regulation).
1. Who we are (Data Controller)
The data controller responsible for the personal information collected through fxservicesmarket.com is FX Services Market, with registered office at Via Monte Napoleone 8, 20121 Milano (MI), Italia, C.F. / P.IVA IT12784930968. You can reach our team at support@fxservicesmarket.com or by phone at +39 02 8731 5240.
2. What personal data we collect
We collect only what we need to deliver our courses, our written content, and our communications. Specifically:
- Contact information you give us — name, email, phone, address — when you fill in the contact or newsletter form, enrol in a course, or write to us by email.
- Programme information — your enrolment date, the programme you are taking, your progress through it, and any notes from sessions you attend.
- Invoicing information — billing name, address, fiscal code or VAT number where applicable, for the purpose of issuing a compliant invoice.
- Technical information — IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and timestamps, collected through analytics and server logs.
- Cookie data — preferences you choose in the cookie banner and any analytics or functionality identifiers (see our Cookie Policy).
3. Why we process your data (legal bases)
We process personal data only when we have a valid legal basis under GDPR Article 6. Specifically:
- Performance of a contract — to deliver the course, briefing, or session you have purchased.
- Legitimate interest — to respond to your enquiries, manage our business, keep our systems secure, and improve our material.
- Consent — for the marketing newsletter and for non-essential cookies. You can withdraw consent at any time.
- Legal obligation — for invoicing, tax records, and other obligations under Italian and EU law.
4. How long we keep your data
We do not keep personal data longer than necessary. Indicatively:
- Newsletter subscribers — for as long as you remain subscribed; cleared promptly after unsubscribe.
- Course enrolments — for the duration of the programme plus six years for invoicing and statutory record-keeping.
- Enquiry messages — twelve months from last contact, unless your enquiry has led to an enrolment.
- Technical logs — typically 30 days, longer where needed for security investigation.
5. Who we share data with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with carefully selected processors who help us run the business — for example, our email-newsletter platform, our invoicing software provider, our hosting provider, our payment processor (when applicable), and our accountant. Every processor is bound by a written data-processing agreement under GDPR Article 28, and is required to process your data only on our instructions and with appropriate safeguards.
6. Transfers outside the EU/EEA
Wherever possible we use processors based inside the EU/EEA. Where a transfer outside the EU/EEA does occur (for example, where a processor uses sub-processors located outside Europe), we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, adequacy decisions, or other safeguards permitted by Articles 44–49 of GDPR.
7. Your rights
Under GDPR you have the right, where applicable, to access your data, rectify inaccurate data, request erasure ("right to be forgotten"), restrict or object to processing, data portability, and withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Italian data-protection authority, the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (www.garanteprivacy.it). To exercise any of these rights, please write to us at support@fxservicesmarket.com. We will respond within thirty days.
8. Security
We use appropriate organisational and technical security measures to protect your data — including encryption in transit (HTTPS), access controls on internal systems, secure backups, and staff training. No system is perfectly secure, but we take the protection of your information seriously and review our practices regularly.
9. Children's data
Our courses, services and website are not directed at minors under the age of eighteen. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a minor has provided personal data to us, please contact us so we can remove it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The current version is always available on this page, with the date of the most recent change clearly shown at the top. Material changes will be communicated to active students and newsletter subscribers by email in advance of taking effect.
11. Contact
If you have any question about how we handle your personal data, please write to support@fxservicesmarket.com or to FX Services Market, Via Monte Napoleone 8, 20121 Milano (MI), Italia.
